First Appointment
When seeing a financial planner for the first time, the more information about yourself that you bring, the more beneficial it is to you and the service we provide will be more thorough.
Some things you should bring:
- An idea of some financial and personal goals you would like to achieve
- Superannuation statements
- Investment statements
- Details of your current assets/liabilities
- Details of your income/expenses
In this initial appointment, you will be provided with a Financial Services Guide.
Follow up Appointment
If any further details are require by the planner to assess your situation further, a follow up appointment will be held. Further discussion in regards to what advice we will be providing, including disclosure of fees, will be conducted in this meeting.
Statement of Advice
Once the financial planner has discussed different strategy options to suit your needs and meet your goals, we will complete a Statement of Advice (SoA) document which will be presented to you. This document is yours to keep and is very valuable. It will detail specific advice tailored to your current and future goals.
If you agree to the advice recommended, all paperwork and applications will be completed to proceed further.
Implementation
When all paperwork and documentation has been signed by you, as the client, they will pass through our office to be sent to the relevant companies and fund managers. All progress of your applications are tracked through our office by our Client Services Manager. If you have any queries in regards to your application, please contact our office and we will be able to assist you with your needs.
Review
It is our obligation to review your needs, and our recommendations to you, on a regular basis. We will agree on a set review date whilst presenting the Statement of Advice. This may be quarterly, biannually or annually. However, we can assist you with other queries in between your formal review date.
